Tim is...my buddy, my hero. The "Little Tyke" is amazing. He is delighting the doctors and nurses with his strength and willpower. Tim has let us all know that he is down but not out. I have always been proud of Tim. He's bright, good looking, and very caring. He loves his family and friends above everything. As well he should! The
response from his friends, especially Chris, Matt, Andria, and Ryan, has been outstanding. Others are calling nonstop. What a display of love. I'm truly grateful. It's not surprising that his family has rallied. Tim's sisters adore him and are constantly with him. The whole family has responded with the same intense family spirit that Tim has always shown. His two brothers-in-law have exceeded every expectation. The wagons have circled. What a family. Tim will be back supporting the local teams soon. The Celtics need him. All sports are a part of Tim, he cares deeply for his teams. Underdog or not, he roots for the home team. Now it's time to root for Tim. Your love, support, and prayers encourage "my boy" to fight. Timmy is... the Eighth Wonder of the World. The night before major back surgery to repair his broken body, he asks "When can I start lifting again?" Who else would ask this? My one and only Tim. Tim is a lucky guy, not only does he have some extremely fantastic Doctors and Nurses, he has some of the best people in the world all rooting for him. Tim has been given a second chance at life and I know he will do incredible things in his recovery and helping other people recover from the traumas in their lives. Thank you God for Tim's second chance.

Timmy is... an inspiration to me. I've spent several days trying to figure out how to describe what my brother means to me. I cannot seem to find the words to portray how deeply or in how many ways Tim has touched my life over the past 26 years. I have been extraordinarily blessed with two amazing siblings, and together, with Dad, Mom, my wonderful husband, our unbelievably supportive family, Andria, and all of Tim's incredible friends, we will do everything possible to support Tim. I know that Tim's dedication, determination, and overwhelming heart will serve him well in the journey he has ahead of him.

The greatest gift my parents have ever given me. So much a part of me that I wrote whole essays on him in college, trying to explain the depth of my love for him. I could never do it. Timmy is the little blue dot on the pregnancy test on top of the dishwasher that morning when I was 5, when I started to dream of the perfect little brother, and my dream came true. My playmate, my fellow Lego architect (mobile homes were our specialty), my Stratego partner. My first draft pick. Timmy is the little brother I would show off like a prize, long after he stopped being little. My tormenter, pinning me down and drooling in my face. A heart-breaker. Hilarious. Gentle. Just watch him hold a newborn some day. It's beautiful. Timmy is strong. An incredible hugger. Generous with his hugs. Kind. So incredibly kind. Timmy is my confidant. My friend. My protector. Mine to protect. My blood. My buddy. Timmy is sometimes afraid to ask for help. Proud. A genetic anomoly. The tallest Morris, the fittest Morris, the Morris with the lowest BMI. Timmy is so many things I wish I were. Where'd you get it, Timmy? That confidence? That air about you? That glow? Timmy is a family man. Timmy is the cool kid. Timmy is the one who made me feel cool even when I was so not cool. Timmy is going to be so, so sad. Timmy is going to be scared. Then he is going to kick so very much ass. Timmy is going to need us. Timmy - my oldest grandson has always been a blessing! He had a way of making funny faces to make everyone laugh, even when he was young enough to still be in a highchair for dinner. He always had a smile and he had a talent for drawing sport figures when he was school age. My youngest granddaughter had play-dough at my house and one day Tim took wax paper and made a couple of sport figures with it, like Larry Bird, in action and in their colored uniforms. I kept them for years, until the figures started to fall apart! He has such talents and so loves sports.

He has always been a very loving and caring person and made everyone feel "special". No wonder he has so many good friends that care for him as we have found out since this awful accident. He has proved how strong and brave he is and, with God's help, he will improve and gain strength each day so he can get on with his life.

Timmy is my nephew. He was always such a funny kid. Even as a toddler he loved to make people laugh. He would entertain us with funny faces and dance movements. Making others happy always seemed his goal.

Timmy makes you feel special. He always makes a point of having time with you whenever you see him. He gives you his undivided attention. He always holds your gaze as he is asking "How are things going?". Meanwhile Timmy has his arms draped around you or he is holding your hand. You always feel loved by Tim!

I'm not a firm believer of events that are predestined (i.e. "EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON")... with that said it's pretty hard to dispute the fact that I was meant to meet Tim. I remember I was starting my second semester of Sophomore year and I was headed into Spanish 102. There were 5 seats available in the class and I saw an empty one next to Tim (in the back of the class of course). Something told me that "this kid can probably make this class less boring". I don't think we spoke one word to each other for the first class. In our second class our professor is going through her lesson and we both were not paying attention as usual (because she was crazy). Tim turns to me and goes "Yo, do you like Ja Rule or the Roots?" hahahaha, for those that know Tim they know he loves the roots... but he also liked Ja Rule!! I was a fan too, so don't make fun. After talking about music among other things Tim invited me and all our roommates to his house (i think we went once cuz he lived w/ weirdos)... But after a couple months Tim became a part of our Lion's Den "fraternity". It's like he was with us the whole time. He was instantly our brother and pseudo roommate. Later to become a real roommate.

To me, and I'm sure many others Tim is constantly the person that will make you laugh and smile from ear to ear when you see him. I cannot even begin to estimate the times that I've doubled over in pure hilarity from his antics, his dance moves, and his many random stories! Tim is the rock that holds all of the Lion's Den brothers together. Whenever we reunite he's on the phone calling everyone so that we can take a step away from our busy lives and just enjoy our time with each other. Whenever I was having problems with relationships, school, family, etc. it was always Tim I went to. He has an unbelievable gift for reading people, and knowing when someone just isn't "right". His ability to listen and comfort people is an even greater gift. When I was struggling I always felt at least a little bit better after talking to Tim... (Tim you really pulled me out of some rough ruts man). Tim is also a great leader. I'd follow him anywhere (even to the dance floor!)... His ability to instill confidence in those around him is truly astonishing. I always played better basketball with Tim on the team... and to this day we've never lost a two on two match! Earlier I said Tim was a rock... and he also has a head like one (relentless and stubborn in a good way). When I go to sleep I pray for - not his recovery... but the speed of it... (because I know he'll recover). He's a fighter and my heart says that he is going to make a fantastic life for himself... I pray that he is able to do the things he loves ASAP. Tim is also the person I miss the most right now, everyday I wake up and I say "I can't wait to see him, I just want to see him."... but time is a funny thing, so I'm sure before I know it I'll be bringing you a Roots CD or something... maybe Ja Rule? haha. I love ya Tim, your my brother from another... Stay strong, keep fighting and I'm praying for ya - all the time.

In college the person who got the most upset if the whole "den" wasn't together was Timmy...Everyone who was close to Timmy knew that he was a true warrior and competitor. He loved competition whether it be basketball or beer pong. When he set his mind to something, he did it...as simple as that. Working out...not a problem...sometimes twice a day...who does that?...Timmy does. A person that tried to break the record for the most grams of protein consumed in one day...that was Timmy. A huge hip hop fan...especially the Roots...The UNH concert was off the HEEE---ZEEEE!!! This was Timmy's idea...my first trip to New Hampshire...Confidence growing everyday I know him...this is Timmy. A person who will be my brother in life for as long as I live...this is Timmy. This determination tattoo on my arm has another meaning now...determined to give Timmy the strength and will power to fight the hardest battle he has had to face in life so far...No matter how far apart you can count on me being there for you buddy. Tim is an incredibly dedicated, sensitive, and loyal friend, and is quite possibly the best man I know. Truth be told, he is much more than a friend to me. He is family. As I'm sure it has been for all of us, the news of his accident has struck me incredibly hard...so much so that this is the first time that I've felt comfortable contributing to this page. I feel a bit helpless right now, as I've been in Chicago on business for the past two weeks... I guess I'm just looking forward to being closer so that I can lend my support to a man that I know would do the same for me. What I will say, is that with all of my fears about his health, I truly believe that if anyone can post a full recovery here, it is Timmy. It's funny, but I keep picturing Bruce Lee nursing himself back to health after breaking his back. I guess it's just a testament to the degree that I admire his determination. To Noreen or whoever is beginning to plan his therapy as he recovers, I have a great number of friends (both occupational and physical therapists) at Spaulding Rehab, and have already placed calls to ensure that Tim could be given VIP status with the staff... should you choose to send him here, obviously. Timmy, I love you and I can't even tell you how much it kills me to hear news like this about you. You stay strong, stay positive, and be patient... and think of Bruce Lee. The great thing is that miracle has already take place here, meaning that you survived the accident in the first place. So my thoughts are, getting you back into fighting shape should be a piece a relative piece of cake. (Oh, sorry Tim, and mean piece of celery).

Timmy is one of the first people I met when I transferred to QU . He opened his heart and smiled and told me "Welcome, Mr. Feeney." He is an amazing basketball player who loves to finger roll whenever possible. He is the main reason why the Lions Den finished 20-0 and were CHAMPS! He brought me to my first ever baseball game at Fenway Park (something I will never forget). Above all, Tim was always so kind and went the extra mile when he didnt have to. Tim will always hold a special place in my heart and that is why I know that all this love and strength will pull him through.

Timmy is... My hunky brother-in-law with the manly scent. Like his sisters, Tim has a great big heart, and he's kind, sweet and loyal. He's not too cool to say "I love you." And since he loves so many people -- back at you, Tim! -- he says it a lot. At family gatherings, he's the guy hunched down on the floor playing trucks with Cody or giving Isabel flips or playing catch for an hour at a time with Jake. He keeps Iris in stitches, always. She's not an accomplished flirt just yet, but she's been practicing her technique on Tim. I can't even imagine how many schoolgirl crushes he inspired during his student teaching days. Tim is the guy who accepted me into the family without hesitation, and I'll never be able to thank him enough for that. But long before I met Tim, I knew all about him -- he was always Chris's favorite topic of conversation back then. All siblings should love each other as much as the Morrises do. Over the last few days, I've seen just how fierce and determined you are, Tim. I am in awe of you and all that you've already accomplished.

Timmy is... a fantastic uncle and Godfather, lovingly known as "UT". We can tell how much he loves us just by the way he looks at us and how his voice catches as he says, "Those kids!" PS - for those who don't know me, I'm a dog, not some pervert.

I've been really struggling with "Tim is..." because he is so many people to me. He is the little boy who so graciously spent summers with me in his youth to be with my two grandsons (my three Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) and who traveled with us to Florida to visit with them. The happy kid with the big smile.

Tim the young man who never hesitated to give me a big hug and a kiss in public, no matter who was around. He always had such a wonderful sense of himself from the very beginning. He always took, what felt like all the time in the world, the time to talk to me about whatever.

Now we have Tim the man. The man that told me, after my husband was diagnosed with Alzheimer's, that he'd alway be there if I ever needed him. The man that was true to his word and performed some handi-man jobs for me around the condo, again with that big smile on his face.

It's very comforting to me to know that I'll always have Tim the man, ready and willing to help Jim and me when ever we need him. This is one amazing young man. He's the most self-less person I've ever met. His heart and genuine love is so incredible I'm, again, speechless.

I love you and would cross the ends of the earth for you if you needed me to.

Tim is...A Gift. Nothing is garunteed in life; no one owes you anything and one's place in the world is never set in stone. When you examine it from a broad perspective, life is transient. The only thing that a person may be lucky enough to have along the way is a strong supporting cast of family and friends to serve as a light amid the uncertainty and vagueness of the future. From the time Tim and I became friends as youngsters to now as 20-somethings, Tim has been a force in my life that has helped me in so many ways it would be an insult to try and list them all. All I will say is Tim is a friend, a brother, and a gift. I consider myself privileged and honored to know Tim and learn from him. Timmy is...my strong, heroic, and incredibly handsome cousin and I love and adore him to pieces. When I think of Tim two images pop into my head; Ms. Chris and Eileen. From the time Tim was born Eileen and Chris have catered to, adored, taught, listened to, counseled, chauffeured, hung out with, supported and just loved Tim to the ends of the earth and Timmy gives it right back to them! Don't get me wrong, the same can be said about Grammy and Uncle Bob and Auntie Noreen; EVERYONE loves Tim. The relationship between Timmy and his sisters is just extra special and has always made my heart smile. To see their faces light up when Timmy is close by speaks volumes to the love that is shared amongst them.

Timmy is...the coolest uncle you could ask for! He is such a great guy! I love him so much and I hate to see him like this (actually I haven't seen him yet but that's ok!)! I have had so many fun times with him! He is so great with kids and so much fun to be around! He's hilarious and a great tickler. He always keeps me laughing, if it's by holding me upside down and tickling me or if he's just being plain silly!He has this thing where he doesn't like me calling him uncle because it's almost like he's more like a crazy older brother than an awesome uncle. Basically I love him, I hope he gets better!

Timmy is . . . in my every thought and prayer. I have only been a part of Timmy's life and proud to say, a part of his family, for the last 5 years and I couldn't be more blessed because of it. Tim's sister is one of the most important people in my life and I have always admired and been secretly jealous of the bond they share (I don't have any brothers). Tim lights up a room and any event I go to is always more fun when Timmy is present. He is like the brother I never had, but always wanted. Timmy is...My favorite step-uncle. He's someone I wish I knew a lot better. And that I'd met a lot sooner. He's a person who has reminded me just how GOOD a 26-year-old guy can be (yes there are still a few out there ladies!), and who has always shown compassion toward situations and people without even being closely connected to them. He's warm. He's open. He can smack you with his smile from across the room. He's adorable. He's a fabulous UNCLE...I can see this in how much my sister Iris adores him. I am so thankful for him and his amazing family - for their spirit, character and unconditional and ABSOLUTE love for one another. It is my honor to be able to write this - to know Tim and his family, to BE family. What an amazing gift you are Tim, you seem to have united a continent without even trying.

Timmy is...a friend, a colleague and a teammate. He's an easy going guy with a great sense of humor. I was sure he was a comedian the day he tried to convince me that Julio Lugo was "the man"! We've watched quite a few Sox games and even "ripped a rhyme" together at Karaoke one night. I recenlty spent an hour watching a band called the "Gorillaz" on TV because Timmy said they were awesome. We spent a good part of that hour texting eachother because I was questioning his taste in music. He has an awesome sense of humor, he's athletic, driven and competitive. He's strong, in great shape and can even be a little bit stubborn. He's the kind of guy that thrives on someone telling him he can't do something. Right now, Timmy is like the best recipe in the world. He has all the ingredients it takes to persevere....

He's constantly in our thoughts up here in New Hampshire. We continually check in with eachother for updates and can't wait to see him.

Tim is one of those smiling faces I remember from the Qu days, where whenever I saw him, he'd be smiling and happy. I didn't know him as well as everyone else, but he always made me laugh and was always enjoying himself in whatever he was doing. I know he's a strong person and will perservere through this. Let me see, it all started in 1954, the first day of first grade.... Those days no pre school or kindergarden, so it was a scary day for a 6 year old.... Looking around at all the other kids was no solace because I knew no one... Then from a few rows over I heard this infectious laughing, a smile came to my face and I knew I had met my NBFF... I've known Timmy since he was a little kid, and we would swim in his parents' back yard pool. He was so cute as then, and Chris loved spending time with him then as much as she does now. about 10 years ago. Until then, I didn't know how much
a person could love a sibling. It's only a slight
exaggeration to say that Chris talked about Tim and
how wonderful he is ALL THE TIME. And after looking at
these tributes and hearing about the outpouring of
support, it's clear now more than ever that that
wasn't just a sister overhyping her little brother.
When I think of Tim, my lasting memory is of receiving
a phone call from him - out of the blue - a few day before I was moving cross country, and him wishing me

Timmy is a person who I can honestly say I have never seen without a smile and one of the best huggers in the world. I don't know if I have ever encountered a more genuinely nice person. In the time I have spent around Tim I was always laughing and found his positive personality contagious. My husband saw the aftermath of the accident on his way to work the morning before our wedding, and my friends refused to tell me about it until I returned from my honeymoon but I wanted to let Tim and his family know I am praying for him. To us, Tim is always the guy you're happy to see at the BBQ's and the get -togethers. The big guy with the bigger smile and the beer in his hand (and one in his other hand which he is holding out for you), the one who instantly makes you feel at ease. The happy one who makes everyone around him a little happier too. Even our daughter, who was afraid of men at age 3, was at ease with Tim the first time she met him. That says a lot about a guy, don't you think?

Tim is always the one to settle the arguments at the Fantasy baseball drafts. Because he has the best demeanor, he's the one who makes sense and settles everyone down. He's also the first to laugh at a good dig whether he's making it or taking it, and the one who is always trying to make a trade to outdo Eric.

From my experiences with Tim, and from what I have read on this page from family and friends, it seems to come down to this:

Tim is that person you want to be like.

We feel lucky to know Tim and the two terrific families that are rallying around him now. Our hearts are with you all: Tim, Morris and Kidder families, and all of Tim's friends that we have yet to meet.

The first thoughts about Timmy, are words like enthusiasm, strong work ethic, and polite. We can probably guess where these traits come from (dad). The young Tim growing up was a joy to watch as he always had something going on, no grass grew under his sneakers. Those jams he called shorts were big enough for a 300 pound guy!

This is a kid who always asked about everyone else, a people person!

Tim was always glad to see me with his father and seemed to beam when ever I saw him.

Greatness will come from this young man, because he will touch peoples lives; like he has.

Every memory I have of Tim is either sweet or funny and this story is just another shining example of Tim's selflessness and the humor he carries through life...There were a few friends from Salem High hanging out on a cold, rainy night. Seeing that I was cold, that's what Tim did, literally gave me the shirt off his back... then proceeded to make jokes that he was hanging out in his under shirt. There isn't a kinder person I know. Tim is .. Someone I met through a great friend Chris Massie . I have had the opportunity to hang out with Tim from time to time over the past 5 years. He was always around when I would meet up with Chris to catch up. Though he is an acquaintance Tim always makes me feel like a part of his family. Such a warm comforting person who no matter how well you know him welcomes you into his life and make you feel important. My 14 year old daughter, Amanda and I joined the gym in January and were lucky to have Tim for our trainer---Tim is a PEACH!!! Amanda was a little self conscious,but Tim immediately made her feel at ease--within minutes he had us both laughing and enjoying our workouts. I go to the gym most nights and Tim ALWAYS makes sure to say hello with a big smile and ask how we are doing-he is so kind & sincere--I had gone to the gym on Monday and Tuesday and was wondering where Tim was and then I saw the information posted and my heart sank. I have been checking the website and am glad to see that his recovery is coming along. I will keep Tim and his family in my prayers.

I started training with Tim in Jan. He has so many contagious qualities. To list a few, one is his big smile, it's impossible not to smile back at him. Another is his love for fitness, he has showed me that the gym can be fun. His motivation and sincerity is admirable. He had faith in me when I didn't have faith in myself. Whenever I hit a bump in the road of life, He was there to talk me through it and made sure I was alright.

Tim is the most genuine guy that I have ever met. He is the real deal, He doesn't sugar coat anything. Not even my meal plan!
